Chair with rope seat Leggera 646 - Cassina
Leggera is a simple wooden chair, with a polite, clear, cultured form, strong in its past as a design icon.
The Leggera chair marks the beginning in 1952 of a process that encompasses in a unicum the entire design and executive collaboration between Gio Ponti, Cesare Cassina and his craftsmen. The Leggera has uprights with an almost circular cross-section and, due to its extreme strength and simplicity that expresses all the nobility of the anonymous object, it is a chair that has had a very high commercial and distribution diffusion over the years.
Lightweight has a seat in natural paper cord, which emphasises its traditional charm, suitable for both domestic and contract environments. It is also available as an upholstered chair, covered in leather or fabric, both with removable covers and available in multiple colour combinations.
