LABIRINTO Carpet

The symmetry of the design and the strong contrasts between the backgrounds and the marked pattern give depth to the Labirinto carpet, designed by Gio Ponti. The entire Gio Ponti collection can be said to be a series of modern works of art, contemporary carpets that play on light or more evident strokes, on shaded contrasts or bright colour cues, on simple geometries and refined combinations that convey three-dimensionality and depth to the carpet.

The carpet has a quality of 120,000 knots/sqm. Fleece composition: 100% Tibetan Highland Wool (filled and hand-carded) .The hand-knotted technique is of Nepalese origin. The carpets are washed, chiselled and rewoven by hand. The fringes are turned back and covered with fabric.
