D.847.1 Desk

As with all projects in the Heritage collection, meticulous study of period drawings, photos, and materials has allowed for the faithful reproduction of writing desk D.847.1 in every detail, bringing to light a masterpiece driven by the high craftsmanship of solid woodwork.

The desk is characterized by its top with curved ends, resembling an airplane wing, and by the small drawer underneath with a rounded front – a true innovation that would later become a hallmark of many Ponti productions in the following years.
