With 20 autograph letters and original sketches by Gio Ponti. Dear Friends collects the letters written by Gio Ponti to the then artistic director of the Cooperativa Ceramica dImola, Domenico Minganti, whom the Milanese architect and designer asked to make ceramic objects he designed himself.

Of particular interest are the animated bottles. The volume, with text in Italian and English, contains, in addition to extensive photographic documentation, introductory essays by Dante Passarelli, Carmen Ravanelli Guidotti, Ugo La Pietra and Lara Vinca Masini.

This is an unknown chapter in the work of Ponti, a researcher and promoter of the great productive capacity of so many minor localities in provincial Italy.
