Gio Ponti designed an imposing openwork sail to decorate the façade of the cathedral of the Great Mother of God in the city of Taranto, Italy. Masterpieces such as the Tibetan wool and natural silk varieties are more than just furnishing accessories, they bring a feeling of harmony and a sense of proportion into our homes, struck by the perfect balance of design, form and colour.

The carpet has a quality of 120,000 knots/sqm. Fleece composition: 30% Natural Silk and 70% Tibetan Highland Wool (filled and hand-carded). The hand-knotted technique is of Nepalese origin. The carpets are washed, chiselled and rewoven by hand. The fringes are turned back and covered with fabric .
