Gio Ponti and the Corriere della Sera 1930-1963

From 1933 to his death, Gio Ponti wrote 130 articles for the 'Corriere': first on interior design, then on urban planning projects in Milan, the minor arts, exhibitions, and the function and tasks of the architect. This volume republishes the entire corpus for the first time, thus offering an important contribution to the knowledge of Ponti's intellectual evolution and a testimony of how the newspaper of via Solferino was able to propose itself as a place of debate also for disciplines that were finding new spaces, dimensions and languages.
Luca Molinari, architect and critic, is the author of numerous studies on contemporary architecture.
Cecilia Rostagni, architectural historian, is the author of several studies on contemporary architecture.
