Already enthusiastic about the theme of naval art, Gio Ponti had direct experience in four transatlantic renovations or built ex-novo after the war between 1949 and 1951: Conte Grande, Count Biancamano, Andrea Doria and Giulio Cesare. It's always about dressing, not planning, the transatlantic. And then the ships furnished by Ponti in these years become "ships loaded with art, traveling Italy's proclamation".
Bridges designs this armchair with slight variations for the ships. Featuring a wrap-around structure and comfortable armrests, it has solid wood feet with brass tips. Textile and leather coverings of the Molteni & C collection.
SPECS: Fully removable product in both fabric and leather versions. Solid wood walnut finishings. Dimensions: L 70 cm P 74 cm H 75 cm. Seat height cm 41.
